Understanding Proposition A - Paid Sick Time Benefits
As of May 1, 2025, businesses in Missouri are required to begin tracking and reporting paid sick leave accruals for all employees, in accordance with Missouri Proposition A.
While Prop A has faced legislative delays, including a recent Democratic filibuster in the Senate. The law is currently set to take effect as originally passed by voter initiative.
